Feast of the Baptism of the Lord – January 9, 2022

Dear Parishioners,

Praised be Jesus Christ!

A few days ago, I was tested for the coronavirus and received a positive result. As of that day, I have been isolating myself and now, following the guidelines of the Diocese of Hamilton, would like to inform you that the church will be closed effective today until next Saturday’s Vigil Mass at 5 p.m.

I also want to let you know that I am doing well and am recuperating and hopefully will resume my Pastoral duties, at that time.

In the meantime, I encourage you to take advantage of other parishes for Mass on Sunday and during the week or those Masses that are on television or online.

All meetings that were scheduled for this week and next week are postponed until further notice.

Our parish secretary will be working remotely. If you have any urgent messages, or need any assistance, please call or email the office and we will do our best to assist you.

Thank you for all your prayers and support and I encourage you to continue to pray for me.

With prayers,

Fr. Marian Gil OMI

2021 Christmas Message

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2022

Dear Parishioners & Visitors,

May this Christmas be more than just a season; may it become a way of life for us. May the little Child whom we contemplate in the manger, watch over all the children of our parish and the entire world, as well as vulnerable and discarded persons. May all of us receive peace and consolation from the birth of the Saviour, and in the knowledge that we are loved by the one heavenly Father! May Jesus be really re-born in each one of us this Christmas. Merry Christmas!

With prayers,

Fr. Marian Gil OMI
