13th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Parishioners, 

Praised be Jesus Christ!

I would like to invite all of you to join me for Mass on Saturday evening at 5 p.m. or Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m., as we celebrate the Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time.

In the bulletin this week, you will see a section dedicated to the Grade 8 Students at St. Teresa School. Their school year was interrupted by the coronavirus and yet they found a unique way to celebrate their Graduation. Make sure you take a look at the bulletin!

You will also, see a section dedicated to our return to our Parish Home after the coronavirus interrupted our regular worship. Hopefully soon, we will ALL be able to gather and worship together. 

As the church is now open for public Mass, I just want to remind you that we will no longer be live-streaming all of the Masses. Mass will continue to be live-streamed on Sunday, at 10 a.m. and The Divine Mercy Devotions will continue to be live-streamed Tuesday to Friday at 3 p.m.

12th Sunday in Ordinary Time

I would like to invite all of you to join me for Mass on Saturday evening at 5 p.m. or Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m., as we celebrate the Twelfth Sunday of Ordinary Time and return to our first weekend Masses, in the church, in over 90 days. 

In the bulletin this week, you will find a section dedicated to Fatherhood. This weekend we celebrate Father’s Day. Remember to honour your fathers, living and deceased, in a very special way, this day, and everyday. Happy Father’s Day to all fathers!

Body and Blood Sunday

Dear Parishioners, 

O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine!

I would like to invite all of you to join me for Mass on Sunday at 10:00 a.m., as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). 

In the bulletin this week, you will find a section dedicated to the Most Blessed Sacrament, as we celebrate this great Solemnity of Corpus Christi. Please take some time to read it and see how important this sacrament is, in our lives.

This week, we received communication from Bishop Crosby, that our parishes will begin to open, on June 16, 2020. Please see Bishop Crosby’s attached letter and the bulletin for further information. With permission from the diocese we will continue to live-stream Masses and Devotions in order to provide spiritual support for those who can’t attend celebrations in the church.

On Friday, June 19th we will celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. I have included an article in the bulletin. Please remember to always pray for your priests, and in a special way, on this day.

Trinity Sunday Message

Dear Parishioners, 

GLORY BE TO THE FATHER, AND TO THE SON, AND TO THE HOLY SPIRIT!

I would like to invite all of you to join me for Mass on Sunday at 10:00 a.m., as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity.This week, in the Parish Bulletin, you will find a section dedicated to God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  I hope you will take some time to read it and reflect upon this great mystery.

You will also see the fruits of our outreach to our children to be creative and present a ‘Work of Art’ to Our Lady, for our May Crowning. We have some ‘Artists’ among us! Enjoy their creations. 

As we all know, this COVID-19 pandemic, has not allowed us to come together as a community, for quite some time. Although, we are not together, our regular expenses continue, and so I would ask you to continue to keep our parish in your prayers and prayerfully consider continuing your donations. As you pay your bills, please also insert a donation to St. Teresa Parish. Thank you to those who continue to remember the parish, through financial donations – We appreciate your generous support! For those, who have not yet had a chance to contribute/support us, during this time, we especially appeal to you, and hope that you will give this prayerful consideration. Continuing support of our parish is an act of generosity and faith. We are very grateful for any contributions you may be able to make, at this time.  For more information how to support our parish please turn to the Stewardship section in our bulletin.

Pentacost Sunday Message

Come Holy Spirit, Come! 

This Sunday, we celebrate Pentecost, and with evening prayer (Vespers) on Sunday, we will end the Easter Season and begin Ordinary Time. I would like to invite all of you to join me for Mass on Sunday at 10:00 a.m., as we celebrate the birth of the Church. 

This week, in the Parish Bulletin, you will find a section dedicated to the Holy Spirit – The Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit and how we can be transformed by the workings of the Holy Spirit, in our lives. May we  grow in Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Counsel, Piety, Fortitude, and Fear of the Lord.

Pope Francis to pray the rosary with the Shrines of the world this Saturday at 12:30 p.m. (Toronto time)

The Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization announces that Pope Francis is to join Marian shrines across the world, to pray to the Virgin Mary for help amidst the pandemic. The Pope will once again be close to humanity in prayer, to ask the Virgin Mary for help amid the pandemic. The prayer will be broadcast live to the world from the Grotto of Lourdes in the Vatican Gardens at 5:30 p.m., Rome time.  The largest sanctuaries of the five continents will be connected online.
