4th Sunday of Easter – Message from Father
Dear Parishioners,
Christ has risen Alleluia!
Thank you for prayers and continued support of our parish community. Your sincere testimonies that you share on-line, move us – sometimes to tears. Even though we are isolated, we maintain a strong parish family – a family of faith and mutual support.
I wish to share with you some news of a very special day in the life of the Church, here in Canada. On May 1, 2020, the Catholic Bishops of Canada will consecrate their individual dioceses or eparchies to Mary, Mother of the Church, seeking her protection during the Coronavirus pandemic. Please see the bulletin for more details and information on how you can participate, in your own home. We will consecrate our parish family during the Mass at 7:00p.m. tonight. Please join us!
Pope Francis encourages us to pray the Rosary especially during the month of May. Please see the letter of His Holiness, enclosed in our bulletin.
I continue to celebrate Mass and the Divine Mercy Devotion, according the schedule below, so I hope you will join us on Zoom. It is encouraging to see that more and more people are following us every day. It is a wonderful opportunity to pray together, but this time together also gives us an opportunity to show each other and tell each other that we want to be part of this faith family.
